Plumbers Northampton 24/7 is a Gas Safe registered plumbing service operating across Northampton and a 30-mile radius. These terms govern your use of our website and the plumbing services we provide.

By submitting an enquiry or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, contact us at info@plumbersnorthampton247.co.uk or 0800 123456.

2. Quotations and Pricing

  • All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • We provide a fixed-price quote before commencing any work. You must approve the quote before work begins.
  • We do not charge a call-out fee.
  • If additional work becomes necessary during a job (for example, discovering a secondary fault), we will stop and provide a revised quote before proceeding.
  • Price ranges shown on our website are indicative only. Your exact price will be confirmed in writing or verbally on arrival.

3. Bookings and Cancellations

  • Bookings are confirmed when we give you a scheduled arrival time by phone or in writing.
  • For emergency call-outs, we aim to be with you within one hour of your call, subject to demand and travel conditions.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule non-emergency appointments with reasonable notice.
  • If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, please let us know as soon as possible by calling 0800 123456. We do not charge for cancellations with reasonable notice.

4. Workmanship Guarantee

  • All labour carried out by us is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion.
  • If a fault directly attributable to our workmanship arises within the guarantee period, we will return and rectify it at no charge.
  • The guarantee does not cover damage caused by third parties, misuse, or fair wear and tear.
  • Parts and materials are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty, which we will advise you of where applicable.

5. Gas Safe Work

  • All gas work is carried out only by Gas Safe registered engineers.
  • We will issue the relevant certificates (e.g. Landlord Gas Safety Record, Building Regulations notification) where required by law.
  • Customers must not attempt to tamper with or reconnect gas appliances after work has been carried out without our authorisation.

6. Access and Site Conditions

  • You are responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the property and to the relevant pipework, appliances, or drains.
  • You should inform us of any known hazards at the property before we arrive.
  • We reserve the right to cease work if conditions are unsafe and to charge for time already spent on site.

7. Payment

  • Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept bank transfer, card payment, and cash.
  • For larger jobs (e.g. boiler installations), we may request a deposit before ordering materials. This will be confirmed in the quote.
  • Late payment may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

8. Liability

  • We hold £2 million public liability insurance. A copy of our insurance certificate is available on request.
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the work carried out. We are not liable for consequential loss (e.g. damage to property caused by a pre-existing fault we were not made aware of).
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including parts availability or access issues.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible:

We aim to acknowledge complaints within one working day and resolve them within five working days. Gas Safe complaints can also be directed to Gas Safe Register.
