What We Collect

When you send a request through our form, we collect the details you type in. These are your name, phone number, postcode and address. We also collect the service you need and any message you add.

Our system also records your IP address and browser details with each request. We use them to spot spam and to keep the service secure, because open forms attract abuse. We also store the address of the page you sent the form from, and the page that sent you there. If you accept analytics, that same address goes to Google Analytics as the lead source. We do not collect payment card details on this website.

If you email us, we keep your email address and the message you send.

How Your Request Is Handled

When you press Request quote, your browser sends the form to the enquiry handler on this website. The handler checks the details and stores the request in the lead database, which is a Cloudflare D1 database operated for this website. Enquiry notifications reach the business through an email gateway hosted on Cloudflare, as a periodic summary. An immediate alert is emailed only if the database write fails. We run the website and the handler on Cloudflare.

We may pass your details to an engineer so they can contact you about the job. We share them for no other purpose than dealing with your request.

Why We Use Your Details

We use your details to:

• contact you about your request and arrange the work
• send a quote when you ask for one
• keep a record of the enquiry
• block spam and keep the website secure

Under UK GDPR, we rely on two legal bases. The first is taking steps at your request before a contract. The second is our legitimate interest in running the service and keeping it safe.

How Long We Keep It

We keep a request for as long as we need it to deal with the job and to keep our records. You can ask us to delete your request at any time. However, we may keep some records longer if the law requires it.

Cookies

Although this website works without cookies, we do set analytics cookies if you choose to accept them. When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose Accept or Reject.
